.:. Ideal Life .:.

Salam ...

Just a quick update in the middle of upcoming hectic schedule of revisions n exams. A simple thought about life. Yes, our life in this world. Some Most people say that an ideal life is like this :

We start our journey when we were born by our mother, safe n sound with the help of doctors


We grow up as a children, playing around, discover things, do whatever we want (Id personality according to Freud's Psychoanalysis Theory)


Then we start our education - preschool, primary n secondary school


With flying colours result, we enroll to university for another higher education - diploma, degree etc ... for the sake of our future i.e. jobs, money n family


In between, we enjoy our life as we are still young. Not much commitments. We watch movies n football, we play games, we socialize a lot ; facebooking, twittering, lepaking, 'open table' etc


After putting so much effort on study, we finally graduate from university. With a scroll of certificate n a nice graduation robe. Perhaps with a bouquet of flower from the loved one


Of course what follows then is to have a decent job, put more efforts and dedications to achieve our goals. Gain more money, get a fancy car etc


The most anticipating time of our life comes - we find 'the other side' of ourselves. We get married, build our own life with our beloved spouse. Raise our own children. Beautiful house and a happy family.


As time goes by, we feel like we had achieve everything we can in this world. We become old and start to concentrate on the after life ; the Akhirah. We go to the mosque and pray in congregation with others. Do some good deeds, repent from any sin that we committed before. We become more close to Allah. All for the sake of Jannah.


Until the day comes when we meet Allah and left this world towards Akhirah

Ok, enough of this life cycle. Many would consider this as an example of ideal life. But let's look again. In this life, there are 2 things that we should always be aware of ; the death n the Yaumul Qiyaamah. As the death is more confirm to occur upon us than the Qiyaamah (i mean the day when all things in the world vanished), then we should be prepare of it. It is good to enjoy our life when we are still young (buat amal ibadat biase2 je, skoda) and suddenly become pious once we are old.

Wait a minute ... there is no guarantee that we will live for such long time. No way. Negative. As the death world come anytime as Allah said ;

"To every people is a term appointed : when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)". (7:34)

Maybe tomorrow, maybe during our college's life, maybe during our work, anytime is possible. And during that particular time, are we prepared enough?

Life in Islam is simple. Allah created the Life n Death to test His servant, whom of them is better (67:2). We are not obliged to become so religious in our life (Super-ego?), just hold on some fundamentals ; do as Allah and Prophet Muhammad told, preserve the right of others, keep improving throughout our life and live with a BIG goal.

And for the last, one quote from Sayyid Qutb ;

"Sesungguhnya orang yang hidup untuk dirinya sendiri, hidupnya kecil dan matinya sebagai orang yang kecil. Sedangkan orang yang hidup untuk ummatnya, dia akan hidup mulia dan besar serta tidak akan pernah mati."

Cane? Inspire x? ... huahua ;p. Cakap pasal inspiring ni just make sure that Prophet Muhammad is our main inspiring model to follow. Ade satu website best - Inspired by Muhammad ... belum explore habis lagi but I'm sure we'll get benefit from there n surely be inspired by him, the standest on an exalted standard of character.
