Salam ...
I knew that I'll have an exam tomorrow. Not merely end of CVS block exam. But the current surrounding environment here and what's happening across the border barely make me study comfortably. Yesterday after class, there is a muzaharat (demonstration) by the Egyptian student to condemn the Israelis raids towards Gaza and Palestinian people ... or should I say our Muslim brother.
And today this morning I watched Al-Jazeera English, broadcasting the latest news on the situation at Gaza in which deaths toll arising to over 300 people ... or should I say our Muslim brother. I watched the program which interviewed 3 persons from different parties regarding the issue ; one is the spokeperson of Israeli PM, Dr Azzam Tamimi as author of HAMAS and one of the EU member as the neutral side ... as if he is.
Not the contents of the discuusions that attracted me. Anyone with no basic of the Palestine-Israel issue will believe what the Israeli PM spokeperson was say. He really insisted that the Israel attack to Gaza is a defensive act in response to Hamas-missile launching to the southern Israel which only killed barely a digit number of victims. And there are more facts that he was lying or maybe unconciously lied. He didn't realise the siege that they are making in Gaza for months or maybe years. Or maybe he didn't realise who actually they are killing ... civilians or the forces. The disproportion of victims, the side of attack ... they never care!
We should understand why the whole world didn't want to cooperate with HAMAS. A clear democratic side chosen from the voice of Palestinian. Not only chose but back them all the time. We should study the base issue on this conflict. Are we included or excluded ? ... What's our responsibility towards this as a Muslim ? ...
And don't forget to pray for them ... ever.
